Here is a simple picture of what is going on:

Well that’s just a fucking cartoon, isn’t it?  And just WHO is playing all these “freedum democracy god and freemarket” cartoons for us?  Why, the RICH FATTIES, of course!

AND- in case you forgot your History… or if Coach had a hard time teaching it… or if your Econ professor skipped this page… HERE is what always happens:

Not some of the time.  Not most of the time.  ALL of the time. And this guy tried to pull our coat to that about 150 years ago:

So in one half of the world, the Fats pissed away at least a century and killed millions to keep this guy quiet.  In the other half of the world, they used this guy to kill millions in order to become the NEW Fats.

Sooner or later, most of the people in the world are going to read this guy’s stuff for themselves.  Then they will decide that it is time to change the “system:”

Millions more will die.  What fun.  Then people will begin to realize that applying a 200-year-old Social Theory to a world unlike anything known for generations* may not have been such a good idea.

People may come up with a new Social Theory that probably will not look like any we have seen before.  It may not be a “Social Theory” at all.  For sure it will not be what we think it is:

…and so on.  You get the picture. Oh.  Solutions.  You want “solutions?”  Well, if you are not part of the homogeneous mixture, you may be a solvent.  You may have substance.  You get the idea.

The idea is not the same as the picture. The idea is not the same as the words.  We use words and pictures to represent the idea.  We have a tendency to confuse the symbol with the thing it represents.

The “system” is a word... like a picture.

*Except in parts of the world where you simply have to get along with the people around you or die.  There, the “system” tends to weed assholes out of the picture, not reward them.

For centuries we thought otherwise, and that was part of The Trap.  The assholes do not always win.  In the long run, they always lose.  But neither Life nor the Universe are zero-sum games.
